Split Second

That spilt second when your dream becomes so real that your mind melts away into the dream’s reality and being jolted into your own  became a two hour moment today.

I was sucked in by the ergonomic desks and chairs, the business suits and the bold letters “TORONTO STAR”. The flame that burns within my heart has been given a large dose of propane. Never have I been so attentive, never have I been so clear and cognizant of my goal. The tour allowed me a taste of the upcoming entree. I am in love with the possibilities and some-how wooing and courting every moment presented to me.
The introductions came and passed, the experiences were told and the requirements given but I wasn’t scared or made to feel overwhelmed. I maintained the swagger which is now becoming a permanent element of my mind.

Not cocky but an energy to know, demand, tell and restrain and is now here and at this building today my split second was held and analysed by none other but myself. It was empowering and motivating, which brings me to all the doubts which niggled and unsettled my mind. Unlock the true you and grab your split second create the balance let not your mind melt away but neither should you be jolted into society’s preconceived notions of the world. Whether it’s offering an old woman a seat on the bus or while giving a quarter to a beggar on the street, let the moment come and hold it, bring it home and combine your dream with your reality.
I saw my love, I saw my life, and I saw my reality’s dream split second frozen by me.

The End Product

Is it aged in the cellars beneath the hills of Bordeaux or intricately hand crafted from a mind with an unparalleled zeal for perfection, what’s your end product? Is it the laughter of children that somehow caresses your heart upon each beat or is it the ultimate sacrifice of self? Choose your end product wisely, be casted by a spell of your doing but let it not be filled with loathing or envy but the willing choice of virtue. I lay not suspended within these metropolitan towers with no prize within heart or soul but rather ascending day by day giving now and forever for I know my end is near, my end is robust and true.  I implore that to you be just with your end product, for many have seen the second childhood in regret and shame.  Both are inevitable deep wounds that we must all tend, but allow the wounds to be battle scars of pride and wisdom. Be not worried of the tools needed or the ingredients missing, for ingenuity is granted to all and attainable as easy as the morning air.

The lights, a myriad of beautiful women and the enticing, amplified urban lifestyle are only side street stalls on a narrowing road. Vendors beckon and beg for my slightest attention. Unwavered by the cacophony of chatter and blearing horns Yonge Street rests in the comfort of my bosom.   I know my end and the clarity towards the path is calming. The calm is familiar; it last entered my mind five years ago when I witnessed a part of me come to life and took his own right of passage in this world.

The end you say, I say the beginning for then and only then that I, you, and we are able to move deeper into the ravages of the world’s being.
I die for the end.

The Genesis.

Embarking on any new life changing event can be an experience that either challenges you to the point of self actualization or pushes you to the edge on the plank of depression. I am now blind folded, hands bound and the cold dead cutlass of doubt is peircing against inspirations spine. The battle begins and the journey of my hopes and dreams is now conceived, the contractions are close! This is the culminating point of all my life's challenges and the true test of mans will to thrive, believe and achieve. For the very first time I am empowered by a force conceptualized by my own fears and love. Terminal 3, I am here, I am now and I am ready for the challenge and all the tried and true tests of failure, I am ready. I know that failure will attempt to forge itself at the end of my every thought and at every word uttered to me. But the human spirit has no boundaries and holds no limit to the world's imbalance.
